CLIPS SPRING RETAINING

Can be used to hold artwork, objects and canvas stretchers onto a backing or main outer frame. They apply spring pressure and hold back an object onto its backing or frame. Easily turned for removal, fix with small self-tapping screws. The scroll ends prevent damage to the secured articles and give a most professional finish.

FLANGER - PICTURE FRAMING HANGER

Unique Flanger anchors have a patented lip which ensures easy and accurate positioning, and which spread the load along the SLIM MOULDINGS. The two screw holes are in the optimum position. The holes for the cord or wire have extruded rims, to minimise risk of chafing. Flangers are handed and are packed in special boxes for easy selection. They are zinc plated and come complete with screws.

MENDING PLATES

Our US-made, quality Mending Straight and Angle Plates are thick, strong, zinc-plated and available in three different types including one with staggered holes designed to reduce the possibility of wood splitting. All holes accept our self-tapping, Phillips screws. Use these plates on larger or older frames to strenghten and repair sections, corners or where recutting and rejoining the mitres is not practicable because of instability, age, resizing problems, etc. Also used for heavy-framed objetcs such as mirrors to add support to the corners.

PICTURE PLATES

Slotted plated are usually fitted in pairs, with the two-hole end screwed to the frame and the other end sticking out to be used as a hanger or to be fixed to the wall. Upside down plates are also fitted in pairs but are inverted so that the wall fixing end points inside the centre of the framed for hidden fixing. Brass plated for a superior finish.
