CONSERVATION CLEANING PAD

Bag made from stockinette cloth filled with acid-free, solvent-free, chemically inert, finely milled rubber powder. Essential as a first stage of cleaning artwork on paper. Rub and twist the pad lightly over the surface of the print or document in a circular motion, rubber powder granules will come though and, as they roll over the surface of the artwork, they take up dirt from the surface of the paper. When they start to look dirty, brush off the granules using a clean cloth or fine soft brush. Remove dirt, dust and mould inexpensively, safely, easily andwithout risk.

CONSERVATION WHEAT STARCH ADHESIVE

A very carefully purified, uncooked food grade wheat starch which is used to mount paper hinges. This adhesive is widely used and recommended for museum quality mounting.
